What a lovely afternoon we shared at our recent Cream Tea For CancerWise!

From the moment people arrived, there was such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Friends caught up over pots of tea, new friendships were made, laughter filled the room and everyone enjoyed taking a little time out to simply be together. It was one of those events that perfectly captures what CancerWise is all about – bringing people together through kindness, connection and support.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to our fantastic venue for hosting us. It was the perfect setting for our event.

A massive thank you also goes to our amazing volunteers. Setting up before guests arrived, pouring tea, serving delicious treats and helping everything run smoothly behind the scenes, your time, energy and smiles made all the difference. We simply couldn’t do events like this without you.

And what an incredible selection of homemade goodies we had! Thank you to everyone who baked and donated cakes, freshly made scones, jam and cream. Every treat was enjoyed, and it was clear just how much love had gone into making them.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who came along to support the afternoon. Your generosity, laughter and company made the event so special. It was wonderful to see so many people enjoying themselves, catching up with familiar faces and making new connections.

A very special thank you goes to the incredibly talented Emily, who entertained us throughout the afternoon with beautiful live music. Her performance created such a lovely atmosphere and added something truly special to the day. Thank you, Emily, for sharing your wonderful talent with us.

Events like this remind us that CancerWise is about so much more than the services we provide. It’s about creating moments where people feel welcome, supported and part of a caring community. Sometimes the simplest things – a cup of tea, a homemade scone, a favourite song and good conversation – can make the biggest difference.
