There are few things more uplifting than a room filled with music, community spirit and people coming together to make a difference – and that’s exactly what happened at the recent Chichester Musical Theatre Choir showcase concert.
We were honoured to be chosen as the charity beneficiary for the event and we are delighted to share that an incredible £725 was raised in support of CancerWise.
Our Chair of Trustees, Richard, was invited to attend the concert and had the opportunity to speak to the audience about the work of CancerWise. He shared how every donation helps us continue providing emotional support, counselling and wellbeing services to people affected by cancer, ensuring that no one has to face their cancer journey alone.
The evening was a wonderful celebration of music and generosity. It was inspiring to see so many people come together, not only to enjoy a fantastic performance but also to support local people living with and beyond cancer.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Laura and everyone involved with Chichester Musical Theatre Choir. From the performers and organisers to everyone who attended and donated, your kindness and generosity will have a lasting impact on our charity and the people we support every day.
Fundraising events like this remind us that our community is at the heart of everything we do. Together, we can continue to ensure that CancerWise is there for anyone who needs us.
