What a wonderful day we had at this year’s Chichester Rotary Dragon Boat Race on the beautiful Chichester Canal.

Each year, local organisations come together to take part in this much-loved event, racing against one another in colourful dragon boats while raising funds and awareness for good causes. CancerWise is always proud to partner with the Rotary Club of Chichester, and once again, we were delighted to be part of such a fantastic community occasion.

From the moment the first teams arrived, there was a real buzz in the air. The sun shone throughout the day, creating the perfect backdrop for an event filled with laughter, friendly competition and community spirit. Along the canal banks, supporters cheered on the crews as paddlers gave their all on the water, determined to help their teams claim victory.

As always, the event was about so much more than winning races. It was an opportunity for local businesses, charities and community groups to come together, enjoy each other’s company and support a cause that makes a real difference to people across our area.

We are incredibly grateful to the Rotary Club of Chichester for their continued support and for the tremendous amount of work that goes into organising such a successful event year after year. Their commitment to bringing the community together while supporting CancerWise is something we truly value.

A huge thank you also goes to every team that took part, every volunteer who gave their time, and every supporter who came along to cheer from the sidelines. Your enthusiasm, generosity and good spirits helped make the day so special.
